This is an enormous potential for the church. “Youth are seeking to discover who they are and why they are here” (Eldridge, 1995). The liveliness of the church has been spurred by the presence of this dynamic youth who have offered their talents to the church and to God and his kingdom. They possess an adventurous spirit and have always step out boldly for Christ in the community and beyond ( Proverb 20:29). To better prepare them for the effectiveness in ministry, there exist an intentional training model to mentor this youths.
The main purpose of this department is to work with young people and use all the resources so that they can grow in knowledge of the Gospel and help them to establish a strong relationship with Jesus Christ.
It is also about helping young people to better understand generational differences and to better understand and live their lives by placing Christ at the center. Even more, guide them to discover what is their calling or what is God’s mission for them, and above all to develop an attitude of service and excellence in everything they do.
